Our Club,
Journey & Achievements
At Nelson South, we'll help you achieve your best while making friends and having fun. Parents, too! Members of Nelson South are able to participate in our training programme, which is based at Hampden Street pool during the summer and primarily at Riverside Pool for the winter months.
Nelson South Swimming Club offers training and development for young swimmers as well as the opportunity to compete in Club, Regional, National and International events. We have training squads for competitive and non-competitive swimmers. Our emphasis is on helping swimmers to develop their potential and improve their times. We strive for "personal bests".
At Nelson South we also try to have a good time - we are usually the loudest at meets, we encourage the swimmers to compete hard but fair, and to have fun. So bring your sense of humour with you and plan to enjoy your swimming!
